Generic Aluminum Aircraft Acoustic Insulation Systems

Pegasus Aeromarine Inc. offers "generic" acoustic insulation systems for available for 2 place side by side, 2 place tandem, and 4 place aluminum aircraft. These are acoustic insulation systems are pre-kitted by aircraft section, and ready for you to custom fit to your aluminum light airplane. Most wood aircraft are structurally similar to aluminum aircraft and may use the same kits.
Three levels of acoustic treatment are available. Level 3 provides basic coverage and Level 1 offers the most insulation. Kits may be purchased as an entire package for an aircraft or as individual subkits for one or more sections. If you purchase the acoustic insulation subkits individually, you can mix and match them as your budget and needs dictate. For example, you can select an acoustic level 2 subkit for the sidewalls and an acoustic level 1 subkit for the firewall. Optional IZIT™ Leather covers are available for most sections, as appropriate.

These 'generic' kits are based on our best estimates and observed data for typical aircraft, but we have tried to avoid providing an excessive amount of material to keep the prices as low as possible. Please check the kits against the dimensions of your aircraft to insure that you have adequate materials to complete your aircraft. If necessary, you can select the best-fit kit and supplement it by ordering yardage, or you can purchase subkits instead of complete kits.
